You guys need to get this idea out of your head that Drake (of all people) needs Akademiks to be his mouthpiece in any way. That guy doesn't know s*** about Drake's releases. Didn't know about the release dates for Honestly, Nevermind, CLB or DLDT.

Don't know why y'all think Drake goes out of his way to give him exclusives. He has always exaggerated his communication with Drake.

He has only given Elliott Wilson s*** when he's already set to drop something. He told him the title of IYRTITL a day or two before it dropped and he confirmed that the CLB cover was real. That's about it. Seems more like Elliott goes out of his way to ask Drake about s*** when Drake has already confirmed he has something on the way than Drake going to Elliott with information.

He spent over a year guessing CLB's release date and he just repeated the information about Honestly, Nevermind that got posted online. Drake didn't give him s*** is what I'm saying.

Yea the last thing that AK got right was confirming the MJ song being on Scorpion if I’m not mistaken

And that is probably because someone who worked on the song let something slip that he just so happened to hear about, not because it came from Drake or anyone from Drake's camp. He hasn't known anything about new Drake music from 2019 till now and think of all the music Drake has dropped since then.

Really don't know why people view him as a source or a spokesperson on Drake like Drake can't/doesn't speak for himself lol.

I haven't forgotten the dozen threads y'all made here every other day when Akademiks spent months capping about knowing when CLB would be dropping. Y'all never learn. The only real source on new Drake music is Drake himself.
