Red Button hits really hard for me. I've been spinning that one a lot since the drop. The eerie vocals in the background with the chill, almost lo-fi beat sets the tone so well. Drake is rapping like nobody's business and him talking his stuff on here is great to hear. He don't even let the beat breath lmao

Him talking about having good intentions initially but being betrayed over and over making him cynical is relatable and is something that if it resonates with you, it resonates to your core. Great track.

Every drake release you find a way to mention Kendrick for somebody that doesn't think too highly of him that’s a lot of rent free living he’s doing in your head. It’s been a constant pattern that honestly is worrying.

I disagree. Rapping is about talking that s*** with your pen, which includes punchlines that made with literary devices like metaphors and similes. Drake is better than Dot at that and it’s not even close. The other element of rap being personal and reflective, Drake is also better at that. Kendrick is definitely a good rapper, but that’s not the point here. The point is that Drake is better and it isn’t close anymore. Not sure if it ever was tbh
