It’s honestly not even hate because I think they were going for a RZA/Wu tang feeling, and there’s no question that RZA beats were “amateur” too
Come Back Baby is just so basic in its its sounds. Infrared just a loop. Games we play another sample loop without much punch or color. What Would Meek Do is some really simple GarageBand type beat, it consists of a short insanely basic synth loop and basic drums laid on that and nothing more. Of course it’s intentionally stripped down but for me, it always gave a “amateur/producers first beats” vibe
