The Shoe Fits is the one for me. I love Evil Ways as well and Stories About My Brother

Shoe Fits is generational. S*** was inspiring honestly.

Man seriously wrote itt "faux independence claiming by women in the modern age" like he just flew back to 1840 with this sentence that's crazy

Yeah you right he was complaining my fault

Whether it's on a collab project or songs on Cole's next album, I don't care, but I need more Drake/Cole records. They're 4/4 so far.

    YEP.

I can't decide if The Shoe Fits or You Broke My Heart is the best track on here but all of these are some of his best work of all time

SH3 already a classic EP on day 1

Ask a woman to read that sentence you just wrote and see how big of a slap you'll receive

A woman who fits the criteria he mentioned in the song or just a woman in general? I know a lot of boss independent women I love them.

Here’s my take, there’s nothing really here to hate on from a rap perspective. He checks all of the boxes here. Sure, there could have been more hooks but that’s not what this was supposed to be. It’s kind of like a stream of consciousness. If you don’t like THIS as a rap head, then maybe Drake isn’t it for you and I understand that. But I do think people should say that and move on.

Now me, I personally would like 5 of these with hooks and R&B songs like Race My Mind, Jaded, and Flights Booked and it’s AOTY for me.

EP is fire and FATD is a cool. Thanks for coming to my TED talk

  • I will f***in force a few shots like a vaccination

I think the point they was touching on was that people say they're independent as a woman, but they're diluting the meaning of independence since they're clearly relying on a man to:
    1. Sell their bodies online
    2. Consequently earn money

Anyone else think this a clear Weeknd diss!?

The city don't love you like that and they fryin' you up
I can't wait for the day that you choose to retire your stuff
Takin' off the sneakers 'cause you tired of tyin' 'em up
That one day you wake up and tell 'em "Enough is enough"
That's how you gon' find out you not Kobe Bryant to us
Man, you not Kobe Bryant to us, at all
And if them hoes really love you, then them hoes, they lyin' to us
They say they miss when you got 'em wet and you dryin' them up
Also don't doubt that you sent them here, and they spyin' on us
Man, either way, nigga, beware of the dog, deep in my character flaws (Conductor)
Humble back in 2012, now I give arrogant bars

Not just that but listen to what dude saying

"You got a lot of hoes, yeah I understand
I'm good on all you niggas, til a ring is on my hand
Then I search your name, find you on the gram
Click the link tree and see you sucking d*** on cam"

I know way too many of these types. You attract the energy you put out. How you want a hard working man acting like you settle for no less than ballers and marriage, bagging a nigga for f***ing hoes, and then turn around and suck d*** on camera for tips?

  • im an alcoholic

  • But of course dude thinks I am referring to all women and not those Drake is specifically singling out.

This sounds more like Kanye than The Weeknd but the city thing I guess would make more sense but idk

Not only that, seeing how he's circling around it, he obviously meant this as a broad argument rather than a limited one and even if he meant it as a limited one I still don't see what independence has to do with anything you wrote really

"The Shoe Fits" sounds like old Kanye and DOOM at the same time.
