JeffersonSteelflexThat’s just an opinion not rooting in a fact. I think Chris Brown’s personal life and the people around him at the time made him rap more than Drake’s influence.
It’s not as revered creatively as it’s revered financially which is what I said originally. The formula of bloating albums translates into more sales given the state of making money off of music. The streaming era literally compromised the art of music and that is a fact. It’s the reason why young artists after Drake or that are influenced by Drake don’t seem to be as successful.. We can even argue why that’s a thing versus the artist that were influenced by Hov, P and Ye (Drake included)
