I wouldn’t say people are blinded by nostalgia for liking the Wayans Scary Movie films . It’s valid that people would be hyped for this

Probably, but SM 1&2 are the type of movies that just don't get made anymore. I'm talking s*** you can just literally throw on with your homes and just laugh at while chilling. The hype is warranted

You’re missing my point. The target audience isn’t any alphas or even most zoomers it’s millennials that like you said hold the first two films in high regard this new one will not live up to the expectations that formula is archaic now mark my words.
