No one said that. That isn't a real solution at all. But reducing the amount of guns to people who shouldn't have one is a start.

motive barely matters in mass shootings. they’re all entirely nonsensical. Like, its well established that these people that plan to shoot innocents are crazy and are following no rational logic. they exist and no amount of mental health awareness campaigns will ever really change that

the issue is that assault rifles and other guns are readily available to basically anybody in this country and can be purchased and used for massacre on a whim
