Was it "crazy" when Trump supporters entered the Capital with hogties and noises?
Or when Proud Boys come armed to a children's storytime because a drag queen happened to be reading?
How about the numerous time across the globe where trans people are beaten or even killed for simply existing?
How about when the Christchurch shooter turned out to be a white supremacist, or when that Nazi manifesto kid shot up a black church and streamed his POV on Facebook?In what world has political violence not been the backbone of some of these shootings? In a lot of peoples minds, they are still the good guys, because the ends justify the means to them.
Since you want to act like Peacemaker Ghandi over here, how do you reconcile that knowing that they will likely never deradicalize? Do we just wait for them to kill us so we can talk about gun control for a month again?

Elricthe left used to fight back but they never had as many guns or as much power. the ghandi method the only way.
I hope for that method, and it's still very possible, I think. But the left really needs some f***ing backbone, and soon. The door is closing for us; blind retribution could very well become the only path forward if we're not proactive and aggressive.
I feel like the first step to recovery is admitting the problem, and I'm done clinging to the notion that death means a single f***ing thing in this nation.

Tbh I'm just sad these supposed "trans shooters" didn't kill anyone of value, why is it always children in these f***ing cases? I'd be defending this person if they were trans and shot at a government event or something...
S***, I'd be defending them whether they were trans or not. I just want things to change and it's clear from Jan. 6th that these people will stop at nothing to impose their worldview on us.
It's just so funny that people are quick to put a label on identity when the fact is children are dead; maybe if it was their own, they'd understand how indistinct that hurt is. Probably not though, which is why I'm not censoring myself.

I'd assume they would have more of a clear and cogent reason for the presumed act if it was targeted as such; I personally believe that talking about political violence needs to be dealt with neutrality, especially when we know from Jan 6th that conservatives are very much willing to both die, and most importantly, kill for what they believe in.
I find it very troubling that the left hasn't found their own way to be assertive and stand up for ourselves in a similar fashion; I'd like to think we'd have just as much fight in us, if not more.
Unfortunately, that requires being real about the situation, and the way its looking, it may very well turn into an necessity that we figure out what we're willing to die and kill for, as well. That's about the safest way I could put it.
