Bro I know that lol but you cannot deny that it hasn’t been more aware on social media than it ever has

Well yes but there are Jews that stand with Palestine that openly say they believe Zionism and Israel committing war crimes raises the rate of antisemitism

Anytime people feel anyone isn’t held accountable for their crimes conspiracies arise

    Oj Simpson
    George bush
    List goes on

Anytime people feel someone or a group of people is treated differently or preferentially hate exudes

  • Fever

"you talk about how mental health needs support but don't unconditionally support a man who refuses treatment and demands he isn't actually mentally unwell. Curious."

It’s almost as if the mental health Kanye has gives him delusions of grandeur and paranoa, both of which can result in refusal to take medication.

not denying any of that but there’s even tiktok videos of those that hated Ye for the trump support/hat/etc that are heavily pro palestine saying that Kanye wasn’t 100% wrong for what he did (hitler antics aside)

what many fear about the black israelites unfortunately isnt their deep seated ignorance about so many topics so much as they think they are the chosen ones which is what whites do right now

the great argument of "who did God make in their image". That self centered egocentric problem is rampant in all art forms

    You were spitting in here

Yesterday I made a gross generalization about mainstream rap and I apologize if it came off as a dog whistle

There is nothing I hate on this planet more than white supremacy and if I have to hold my tongue when it comes to s*** like this then so be it

I despise organized religion as well, it is the cause of a lot of mans problems imo

    lmao real

It’s like I wonder if people are familiar with that aspect of their beliefs when they name drop Wu Tang for cool points on talk shows or WWE or in the context of their confusion and anger at rap culture not really abandoning Ye

I think 99.9 percent of people have no idea. I used to look up (and print out) Wu Tang lyrics way way before Rap Genius to find out whatever I could about the evocative movie snippets, coded street lingo and esoteric religious references. was very difficult and as an agnostic I just had be like very cool Wu Tang ill try not to be a white devil I guess.

I appreciate you man. Its no hate to you and I am a black man who the last thing I ever want to say is "thats racist". I just think all generalizations are dangerous to be clear. When Ye says all Jews are a certain way because of the acts of a few Zionist thats dangerous too. That isn't in anyway to deny there are ignorant niggas that are hateful. That isn't in anyway to deny there are black people who view their struggle as the only struggle and hate intersectionality "they wouldn't do the same for us us caring about others is how we got to the bottom " "Palestinians are anti black". I just try to squash all that man

Because at the end of the day they will make any of us into statistics, headlines, ink. They don't want us to unite. It means a lot to me that you can come back with love and see its love. Just know that . It takes a lot to do that. Not everyone can.

Because Mainstream rap and a lot of what sells is hatred I am agreeing with you there. But you have to ask yourself why we are the genre where hatred is promoted and sells so well.

Country , electronic, jazz and so many other genres if an artist is drama, beef, death, hatred of marginalized groups they are like "you aren't profitable " because they know they aren't helping humanity. But us its such an odd energy. You feel it at the concerts. You feel it online. You see the music live and people be pushing each other or mean to each other or fighting . Then the few sane people are like "whats going on "

Violence and s***sell. Imo a lot of it has to do with capitalism.

It is a damn shame that mainstream hip-hop has been reduced to a shell of itself. I miss Public Enemy type of acts for sure.

I was a little faded last night so a tad too aggressive and not in the right headspace to have a productive conversation. Also I find myself being way too reactionary in anything involving Kanye as of late. Gonna continue to work on that. Its definitely all love over here

Violence and s***aren't pushed like this in other genres though lol. I know they sell. We are just the genre where its pushed the hardest. As well as materialism. So people that don't interact with black people day to day see the art we value the most. They eventually say "if that is the art they value the most to get them through their days it must be a reflection of them". Part of this depiction continues the cycle of racism and encourages it. When the top awards, top of billboard goes to bullshit. Goes to hateful music and ignorant artist that are celebrated more than questioned.

I get being reactionary when it comes to Ye. I get people thinking "oh s*** he in some way hearing ye perspective he too must be hateful". Nah Ye an idiot in many ways i have said that especially when he saying "I got 14 kids dying in chicago ask me about that rather than palestine" when our struggles are connected. No one can sit him down to unite the people

he changed his name to ye saying it means us in the bible. He had an entire love everybody era. I got the newspaper from the Chicago Tribune of "we love" in every language that s*** meant a lot to me. But as soon as people jumped on him for saying love everybody including Trump voters and everyone rather than stand on business and in love and let haters look crazy he hated back

He said "black lives matter made y'all victims" all this s*** where I get what he was going for but it defeated the purpose of love everybody to come back with hate. When he should have been more like Badu about it. Badu said every human being has value essentially. Many have done terrible things but every human being has value, art, possesses some form of love

Now Ye is so far from love everybody where he feels scorned by so many and will hold many of these grudges til death. He went from a shrooms like era to a coke like era lol. I have dealt with coke heads so I get hating his annonying ass.

I get seeing a grown man talk about wanting to build homeless shelters and do so much for humanity throwing away the money to help others to prove that he can say antisemitic things and not be controlled by the "system" is grossly disappointing believe me. When I was at a nonprofit in Chicago I was writing a grant proposal to Ye

I still truly feel like Donda kept him anchored. Sad stuff.

Virgil wasn't enough to keep him anchored, he was still doing "Slavery was a choice" rants 3 years prior to Virgil's death.

I don't think there is anybody that could sit down somebody that manic and make them see logic. He needs years of stable chemicals in the brain and lots of therapy to come out of the state he's worked himself into.

It's damn near a tragedy what has happened to Kanye West. I still hope he can get help one day.

He needed to move back to Chicago in 2018 donda era and Kim said no. I don't blame Kim its just what his mental needed. He needed to be home away from Paparazzi for a few years.

Chicago doesn't play about all that woo woo bullshit. No one running up on anyone or their kids here with a camera day in day out. Papparazzi and TMZ don't have the same audacity here as they do in Los Angeles. He needs to be away from the fame or the opportunity to always be forced to speak on things he isn't educated about.

Lupe Fiasco could talk to ye but Ye needed indie for his mental health point blank period. Its sad how he got there but but Ye being in that many contracts with that many people seeing him as a money maker was and forever would be detrimental to his mental health. It is no way to live most of your life or career . 20 years of living for someone elses vision of you when he made new slaves a decade ago.
