So, I just got done watching this masterpiece all the way through for the first time, and I honestly can’t praise it enough.
I’ve been enjoying Scooby Doo since a toddler, like I assume many of us have, but when I’d go back to revisit it as an adult, almost all of it would feel too kiddie for me these days; that’s fine, and the nature of lots of kid’s entertainment, but I wanted a Scooby itch scratched, so I tried this series, which I remembered as being more adult, a shot.
And I am SO grateful that I did.
It is the perfect blend of classic Scooby Doo flavor and more heavy, adult concepts and humor. This thing made me genuinely laugh no less than 5 times per episode, and then later left me stunned with what they would do in a Scooby Doo show, of all things. The premise is utterly ridiculous and cartoony, but it is executed with enough talent and care that it ends up pulling you in anyway
I don’t want to spoil much, so let me just say that while it takes a few episodes to get going (the first episodes are still good, it just gets even better as time goes on) it is one of my favorite animated shows now, and definitely worth checking out.
If anyone else has seen and likes this show, please, comment about it! But please, mark spoilers if you do, so new watchers won’t get the crazy s*** that happens later on spoiled for them.
I watched a few episodes last summer. This the version where they had a love triangle between Shaggy, Velma, & Scooby

Lol, yeah, that was always one of the worse aspects of the series to me.
Like, Fred and Daphne make sense, but Shaggy and Velma feels forced to me.
Even still, I love the series though
I should check it out, I luv scooby doo
Yeah, in my opinion it’s the best thing Scooby ever did, and the definitive “mature” Scooby, alongside the original Zombie Island.
Like I said, it takes a couple episodes to get as good as it gets, and it’s not like, perfect, but I think it’s always good and I love it
Watch Velma
Idk, I might. I heard bad things about it though, which made me hesitant.
