If anything, Scorpion made me appreciate Views more.

It was no doubt the absolute commercial peak of Drake though. That's when the MJ comparisons were taken more seriously and 2018 was his most dominant year.

Yup, album felt like a collection of songs more than anything else. This album and losing the Pusha beef dictate the moment when Drake stans on KTT became numbers hungry chart watchers lmao.
Still though, God’s Plan, Nice For What, In My Feelings and Nonstop are all great singles, while Jaded and Emotionless are some of my all time favorite Drake album cuts

2018 AOTY. Side A is stronger but Side B is very close to the same level of quality. I can't imagine trying to cut this down into one album or having it be two separate releases. They complement each other so well. If anything I actually wish he could've added more songs. Vital as the intro for Side B would've been hard af and fit right into the vibe for the second half
