Although Scorpion to me is a good album not everything has to be considered a classic, and that’s perfectly fine. I think looking back people will revisit it and appreciate it more just like Views

VIEWS got way more backlash upon release than Scorpion and the general public's opinion on VIEWS has done a massive 180 in the 3 years that it's been out. A lot of people admit to loving the album now than when it dropped in 2016.

it's up there. Imo it's very focused and has high replay value. Only thing making side A not as good as my favorite NWTS is the production being kinda samey and not as unique.

Timeless, influential and good. Scorpion is too recent for me to say it’s undoubtedly a classic, but I think it’ll be one after time has proven how good it is.

as much as I love scorpion this is false. Drake has not RAPPED as far as I'm concerned, at his peak level since 2014. Once he dropped IYRTITL his whole style switched up...Rapping wise he was better on TML...we talking FLOWS, TECHNICALITY, RHYME SCHEME, etc. I will give him props on his content. It has gotten better over the years. his bars too.

Was thinking this until scorpion but songs like survival, elevate, emotionless, is there more, omerta and gold roses verse and even lose you and dnd before that are definitely on par with the nwts era rapping wise imo.

The only thing hes lost a bit is the blend between rapping and rnb or rather his melodic hooks/bridges alongside hard bars and flows. Only really shone through on u with me last verse, elevate, maybe both and most prominently on gold roses and no guidance. But that might also be down to the production.

Im confident that he will go back to that 2014 level consistently on his next project. Especially with him seemingly having a more optimistic outlook on life and the rap game.

I think Big Scorp is by far his worst album buttt I listen to some of this s*** like every week. It’s objectively okay at best but I just like drake and will listen to most of his work.
