I feel like the anime aesthetic gets in the way of the video game aesthetic but the first episode was great. Can't wait to watch some more

I think the main reason the voice acting is a bit off is that Edgar Wright’s adaptation of the material had all the characters perform with deadpan delivery. It worked cause it matched how the actors were.

In animation some of the deadpan doesn’t sync with the expressions drawn but they’re all still playing their live action roles. Some of the more expressive characters work the best like Mae Whitman, Jason Schwartz, and Chris Evans

That being said I only have two more episodes to go and have still been having a good time with it

This take is honestly genius all things considered. I was not expecting this at all. They could of easily just adapted the film and called it a day but making an adaptation within an adaptation whose story largely revolves around another adaption is wild 😂

They pulled a FF7 remake and it was pretty entertaining

I love where all the characters were left off at the end

The style is so awesome. Idk how it didn't strike me before to read em despite loving the movie and the LUVVTW and other Scott Pilgrim inspired Uzi art.

all that hype for 1 season scott pilgrim with only 20 minutes of the main character

“A self contained 1 season”

But they teased more at the end

Netflix ain’t gonna let this rock just for one season trust me
