Even school teachers can't accept gifts over like $100

Hey SCOTUS, maybe you go on this all expenses paid luxury trip with your wife and then when that vote for the bill comes to your desk maybe you pass it with no questions asked? You dont have to, just a thought... although that trip will no longer be on the table

    Literal mobsters smh

  • Symptom of the problem; do not assume that he, or Republicans, are the only ones with megadonor lobbyists and covert special interests. It's a fundamental flaw with representative democracy -- the 'representatives' are single points of failure for power diversion. Judges, like Thomas, are no different even though they are supposed to be impartial.

Every country must look at Switzerland if they want a true democracy and not oligarchical democracy.

Working at Target there’s literally a scenario akin to this that’s touched on when it comes to competitors attempting to bribe employees for inside information on the company, and that’s instant termination if uncovered.

These dudes are held to a lower standard than f***ing retail employees.

Crow's backyard garden is home to at least 20 statues of authoritarian leaders and Communist icons, including Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Fidel Castro, Mao Zedong, Karl Marx, Hosni Mubarak, Josip Broz Tito, Nicolae Ceausescu, Walter Ulbricht, Gavrilo Princip, Bela Kun, and Che Guevara. Crow acquired these former public monuments after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Eastern Bloc. According to Crow, he collects such memorabilia because he "hates communism and fascism".
