Wrong.
it’s a decent first attempt, tried to do too much all at once and there’s at least 3 flat out wack songs.
kendrick projects tend to not have wack songs
I like the overall sound and vibe tho. but it’s not the more complete project
Section 80 clearly for me. F*** Your Ethnicity, Keisha's Song, Rigamortis, Kush and Corinthians, HiiPower...so many top tier tracks.
For those of you who say DAMN doesn't have duds: Loyalty, Love, and God.
If the release dates of Section 80 and DAMN. were swapped everyone would say DAMN without question. The only thing making people think Section 80 is the memories or the “I was on kendrick before he was huge” thing
This is tough.
I'm going to say DAMN overall was a more enjoyable listening experience for me personally.
Sxn.80 has a great theme but I think I've enjoyed all the following albums more.

This isn't true at all. I genuinely don't understand why people underrate S80 so much. The production is so much better than on DAMN and while it does have No Makeup, DAMN has way more instances of Kendrick rapping in a disappointingly neutered commercial way.

or maybe s80 actually has his smoothest songs like blow my high and chapter 6 among others, while damn is filled to the brim with a bunch of cookie cutter trap billboard-bait bullshit

facts, no makeup is literally the only bad song on s80
deleted almost half of damn from my library 😂
bottom 2 Kendrick albums
GKMC
TPAB
UU
Damn/S.80
You're not even ranking them?
You're just gonna lump them.together?
Ok
DAMN and I get more certain with that all the time FEAR and XXX hit f***ing hard these days, whole album just has a mood about it that resonates.

I like Untitled Unmastered more than DAMN tbh. The only songs on DAMN I really ever have the desire to revisit are DNA, Feel, XXX, Fear, and Duckworth. Humble has grown way off me, Loyalty and Love are awkward pop songs that I don't like Kendrick doing, Yah is boring, and God is a little annoying.

I guess I'll give S80 the edge over Damn because it doesn't those trash forced pop singles and songs

GKMC, TPAB and UU have no skips if you listen to them front to back. (okay maybe Real)

All those songs are hard tho Never could really get into Untitled Unmastered tbh
S80 brings back good memories, lots of classics, some wack s*** that he frankly outgrew, it's a really good start but if that was the best he ever gave us he wouldn't be the living legend he is now.
DAMN overreaches sometimes in terms of genre and theme, but the sonic palette of that album is a lot richer and more sophisticated, Kendrick gets very personal and there are some unforgettable rap performances. DNA and FEEL would be the career peak for most MCs.
More people need to appreciate that we got a pop rap blockbuster that really dug deep lyrically. That's an insightful, personal record you can bump in the whip. They don't come around often.

Yikes at thinking Love and Loyalty are duds. F***ing hipsters.
Anyone that say DAMN got brain damage
Nigga you can barely talk or walk shut up before I call Mr.White to put you in time out.
