He could have a real shot in 2024 with a fleshed out platform.

Look at how many debates Yang/Steyer/Williamson/Bloomberg got to participate in.

we need a yang/kanye run fo so

Imagine unironically thinking this. Kanye and his anti-vax, anti-abortion, mandate prayer in schools, religion is the solution to everything, tax breaks for the rich and corporations beliefs all while having frequent manic episodes is the solution to the problems facing America today.

I really hate how so many people here can't think logically and just buy into everything Ye says just because we love his music. You're treating him like a cult leader.

    imagine this...

Living in a world run by people. People who have intentions for themselves, to serve in their own manner to please their ego. To judge everything that is fake because the mainstream has reported it. To live in a selfish manner because the team around us does, leaders and non leaders included.

Then what do we do to fix it? We go to social media, post something not to improve the outcome; but to act like we are apart of the movement when we are the problem. We try desperately to get likes on social media. To wear the trendy clothes, be popular, to be apart of the "normal".

This life we are in is a popularity contest for ourselves. I would rather have a person who does not serve himself, but someone else. God for example.

You don't have to imagine that because that is the society we live in and we need a system breaker or we in this for another 4 years man, maybe longer.

and also im on a kanye west fan forum if you ain't f'ing with kanye then i don't know why you are on here...

Nope. Already vehemently disagree with you there. I’d rather not have a guy in office who supports s***ty stances like forcing women to give birth which would only contribute heavily to inner city poverty and overpopulation, encouraging people not to take vaccines because of “GoVeRNmeNT CoNtRoL CHiPs” which in a time like this would devastate the population as well as the economy long term, and cutting taxes for the rich and corporations which would continue to f*** over the working class like we’ve seen done for decades now as the 1% gets endlessly richer - because all these stupid ass “trickle down tax cuts” don’t work as the 1% saw their net worth increase $21 TRILLION the past 30 years while the bottom 50% saw their wealth actually SHRINK $900 billion.

...all because the fairytale man in the sky told him these were all good ideas. Nah, I’m good on that. And f*** outta here saying I have to support all this s*** just because I’m on a Kanye fan site. I love his music and I’ll always be invested in Kanye as a person too, but I have actual values and I’m not going to sacrifice those just because Ye has adopted some misguided dumb as s*** beliefs.

They try to justify it by saying "Kanye is just thinking independently" and "nobody can stand to see a black man having his own opinions" and "Trump and Biden are both bad so Kanye must be better" which are all laughable arguments. Plenty of people have thought about these very complex social and political issues FARRR more than Kanye has actually studied them or given them any kind of thought. The reason he's adopted a lot of the beliefs he has in the first place is specifically because they're unpopular and he thinks that by being a contrarian he's no longer under anyone's control. No one's literally forcing him to have a more left leaning ideology, but people are free to criticize him for having dangerous regressive ideas especially when he has ZERO good reasons for them and just regurgitates blind religious talking points he probably heard from his pastor.

It's insane to me that a lot of people here have probably been progressive all their lives, but now just because Kanye has adopted a heavily conservative and religious ideology, they'll completely throw away all their values and try to side with him. Where's your f***ing backbone? I've loved Kanye for over a decade but I'm not gonna be a blind stan or yes man and automatically support him on s*** he's not educated on at all.
