About to play this game finally
First one is a masterpiece
good game
not better than the first but still worth playing even if i dislike some of the decisions made here
still might be my goty or monster hunter, though replays hurt it a lot for me due to some major flaws in it
Just played from start to day 2 and this are my first impressions:
The art style is GOATED
Music has been good, there have been some remixes of the first game. Havent had a track really stand out for now tho
Story has me intrigued and i want to continue to see what happens, liked the new characters, MY NIGGA SHO MINAMOTO IS BACK WTF, wasnt expecting him, he was one of my favorites, his voice weird tho
Gameplay is what im most iffy about, like i had fun but i feel like i was just pressing buttons and not really doing anything except using another pin to help with the super attack. Also a bit confusing the way it switchs characters, maybe i have to play a lil more but for me this is clearly inferior compared to the first one.
Overall had a lot of fun
good game
not better than the first but still worth playing even if i dislike some of the decisions made here
For sure not expecting it to match the first one, imo that game was magic, very unique and a classic.
Just hope its a worthwhile sequel even if its worse
Just reached day 6, still enjoying a lot
Game been easy as hell tho, and i've been playing it on the maximum difficulty available and level 1 at all times.
Actually have been having more fun with battles than i though even tho they are a bit samey, also i feel i dont been getting that many new pins lately even tho im doing all side content possible
The story has been interesting as s*** tho want to see what happens next and know more about the characters, i really like Fret
Beat the game today and imma say that i enjoyed it a lot, great game
I think if i try to think of an objetive score i would give it an 8.5 but personally i enjoyed it more than that, i was very invested playing it
I dont know how many hours took me to finish it, but the game actually felt long but it didnt drag (it could get bad tho if u try to get all the turf prizes, way too points to get them)
Really liked the character cast, even tho some of them i feel are underutilized like Nagi, Tsugumi, the reaper that does the fortunes or the ex-friend of Shiba
Some of my critiques of the game are:
that u couldnt get lower difficulty level pins, like i understand why in the early game that would be busted because of getting 3 pins for enemy instead of 1, but i think giving an option with the social points by mid or late game would of been great, i feel i missed on a lot of pins because of this, always played on hard and it felt annoying to go lower the difficulty and battle again
The game is easy tbh, the only times it would get hard is when doing long chains because of enemies chipping battle after battle (never used a cure pin so this maybe my fault), also the noises get more and more annoying in a bad way as the game progresses like the last version of wolves, they didnt felt fair because the camara is ass so you really cant see whats coming
Boss battles were really easy too, the only one that felt challenging to me was week 1 Susukichi, and maybe the Sho Minamoto one but when i changed to water homing rockets that fight was easy as hell. Final boss was a joke.
Also dissapointing how the noise boss battles are really the next versions of the normal noises u already has fought, felt like battling reskins with more HP, unique noises as bosses would of been really fire. Also would of been cool to fight more of the reapers tbh, like i think Kubo u cant fight him because he cant intervine, but only him is the excuse
In conclussion tho, i recommend this and the first one to everyone. Its a great game that was its a worthy sequel
Really like the combat in this
Really like the combat in this
this game looks cool
Its good and fairly unique
Art style really dope too
