this what i mean when i say being an artist and collaborating is the greatest approach to making music, so many ppl these days do everything alone, but its sick to have all these creatives helping to make something amazing

In my experience, now that we’re in the age of main character syndrome and very little sense of community or empathy, most people aren’t humble enough to invest their talent in a vision that isn’t entirely their own.
If this were today, the synth guys would’ve made their own album

i think it’s also a regional thing, cuz straight up some cities just have no scenes and just leech off other hubs. people don’t wanna come up with their own s*** and work together
UK got their s*** together though they have a whole ass community of people working together

Yea that s*** sucks ur right tho, ppl only interested in their own music
i think what’s revealing is stevie would fiddle with the radio & listen to elevator music to hear musicians & arrangements
This genius knew how to listen to something and apply it instantly to his work if he liked it
the other thing that makes you go
omg
He didn’t use his thumbs on the
keyboards 4 digits on each hand did not slow him down
think about that for a second and think about the fast tempo songs like i wish Sir Duke or Do i do
the faster the tempo most people need the thumb or it’s adios. that was just a regular wednesday for Stevie recording Do i do
😳
this is a good one for people who like stevie wonder behind the scene stories , it’s kinda revealing how cool stevie is with the people he hangs around
He had Bill Wolfer drive the Royce
i wish he would find & release the happy birthday song he made at a party for Bill’s wife 😎
you read my mind brother watched it when it came out. stevie is an extremely underrated figure in electronic music as a whole. any of yall who are unfamiliar check out tonto's expanding head band's album zero time to hear the inspiration for stevie "going electric" seminal release

Fire watch
Old people reminiscing are great
Would be super dope to see Stevie wonder with an orchestra
