I have no intention of watching the show, can someone explain to me why GOT is hated THAT much now? How does one bad season change its ENTIRE legacy?

That's what happens when you have so many threads that you lay for 8 seasons that ultimately led to nothing. Add to that a lot of nonsensical actions that reverses character arcs for no reason.

Ending wasn’t great and bad taste is still fresh wait till nostalgia kicks in and copy cat shows come out

Dweebs mad about what happens to certain characters as if the source material is gonna be drastically different. I’m glad the show actually got an ending even if it was rushed.

GRRM fumbled the bag and didn’t figure out the ending in the 7 years he had between the beginning of the show and the end.

Once Weeds went from a biting satire of suburbia to trying to be Showtime’s Breaking Bad it was a wrap

games of thrones, people don’t even acknowledge it anymore

This is the problem with most television shows that start out on fire and become some suck after a while

They never wanna commit to the consequences that they set up that make the first season so intriguing

Game of Thrones definitely f***ed up, but im certain they can regain their footing with House Of The Dragon.
If they can bring back the slow burn political drama aspects of the show, I have no doubt fans will be interested again

The final season is just drastically rushed. Plots are either skipped entirely or given a such an extreme push that they just end up being completely b******ized. It of course had the same effect on characters. Some made decisions that don't even fit their personalities or morals and youre just sitting there like
