I have thoughts that Devon was seemingly written a bit out of character in this episode. She almost comes across more as a plot device to get rid of Raghabi rather than an independent character with organic actions. What the f\*\*\* is that call Ms. Cobel nonsense, why would you call the women who stalked your brother and kidnapped your baby? Felt out of the ordinary for a character who’s usually written to be pretty level headed.
Also felt like spacing out the Gemma sequences could have been done differently. If we had seen maybe one scene per episode of her in the different rooms it would have added to the mystery, leading to this episode where we get the romantic backstory. Feels like there could have been more impact in delivery there
All in all still a good episode and I think next week will be insane but one of my favorite parts about the show has been the way they deliver the answers. In spite of the excellent editing it felt very straight to the point/dumbed down from previous episodes

I don't disagree with any of that. However, I thought the cinematography, editing, and acting was on 10, 10, 10. Stunning and emotional while still mysterious and opening new doors while simultaneously answering series long questions
It truly floored me and currently holds rank with Pine Barrens, The Return E8, and Ozymandias as some of the finest and most innovative television I've seen in this short life.
but "easily least favorite" is CRAZY!

Oh most certainly, was another fine treat for Real Tv Viewers
i do have to say every time I think they’ve misstepped they course correct almost immediately, Excited to see how they concoct the most painful 37 minutes of all time next week.

Visually one of the best episodes of the series
bring homegirl back!
In the end, depending on how this entire series rounds out, this might just end up in my top 3 all time. This is beyond peak.
the scene with devon and reghabi is really the only blemish here. everything about that felt unnatural.
so we’re led to believe that:
what mark was seeing in his head were JUST the flashbacks
and essentially simultaneously while he’s passed out, gemma is going through these tests. he wasn’t seeing that stuff in his sleep tho right ?
covered in goosebumps and teary eyed from the very first second to the very last holy s***. this show is just constantly one-upping itself. astonishing.
