I feel like it gave us some answers while leaving us some questions for next season

We got quite a bit of answers tho lol. They gave us good chunks still leaving the more long term questions on the table to still explore S2 and beyond. It’s a patient show like a Mr Robot would be

Don’t think this is the show to just wrap up everything in S1. All the storylines are very much still going on and will create a very different scenario once the show returns and is back into the exploration of the company

Which answers ? We already knew everything they showed, the world didn’t expand at all, we still have no clue what the hell are they doing down there which is imo the most important part.

Finale was incredible but the Gemma they got at Lumon is definitely a robot right? Kinda takes the wind out of the whole "She's alive" ending if she's not actually alive

We have no indication she’s a robot at the moment…it might just be a case where faking her death allowed for wayyy more freedom in what they could do with her and how they could test innie’s like Mark, who’s outie was married to her and had such a deep connection

The restricting aspect in all of this for Lumon is that this is voluntary for only 8 hours a day. They still have to respect the outies who have control over their lives still. But with Gemma who knows what they can do. All we have so far is her being there mostly to test Mark

Tight that in this era of streaming, s2e1 tends to unravel all the tension from cliffhangers in s1 and set it back to status quo
