Haven’t seen the new episode but I feel the same. Thought the first five - six episodes were top tier and then the last three weeks have felt like some of the worst television I’ve ever seen.
Tonight’s episode is a big make or break for me tbh just doesn’t even feel like the same show this last month
Sometimes you need to let them cook. Best episode of the series. We’re back.
Did they do a double Glasgow on us? Was that Helena down there today? I’m leaning 90% no but idk ehhh it might be
need a scene where helena talks to helly like using a live camera and screen with a delay played back while her chip is constantly switching or someth conceptually the same
just would be interesting to watch
or mark lol

I think it’s a valid argument but they did spend a significant amount of that episode emphasizing innies survival instincts so im also leaning Helly. She hated her outie before Mark S flipped on his
Sure she said XYZ to Mark but deep down she’d rather face consequences with him than risk never seeing each other. Jame said he saw Kier in her and prefers her over Helena so there could be another element of Helly instinctively intervening before it went too far for Lumon
Mark’s innie is a whole b**** I’m so mad
bruh he doesn’t know who he can trust at this point. think of the s*** he’s been through and the fact that he’s basically a child.
and the way outie mark was trying to sell him on reintegration with all that smiling and milchick/lumon “trust us” talk would definitely not inspire trust in me
Mark S had a pretty strong point in saying they’d just forget about him and he’d basically die after he saves Gemma. Why would outie Mark go back to work if the sole reason he did the severance procedure is gone
He’d just wanna spend 24/7 with his wife and eventually do other things. Picking Helly buys the innie time however s***ty the ramifications might be
Once there was no good answer for his concerns it was a wrap
Can someone explain what cold harbor is??? I still dont get it
It involves how Gemma tried to have a kid but couldn't. She was taking apart the baby carriage like when her and Mark did

Sure, but whats the point… aren’t the severed not going to remember nothing already?

But he knows that they're dead either way lol. Even Helly explained this to Mark and understood it.

We don't know yet but my theory is they are trying to sell a procedure that allows people to forget traumatic things that they went through or something of that sort. Gemma is the guinea pig

My thoughts: All of the testing floor exists to experiment the ways you can push the severance chip. They were all based on situations or settings that invoked a reaction from Gemma and testing if any memories from her outie bleeds into to dozens of new innies (while everyone on severed floor only has 1).
Cold Harbor seems to be based on the biggest trauma point for a person. For Gemma that’s losing her baby. They had a blank innie undo the crib to see if something emotionally triggering for her outie would affect this new innie and her emotions towards the crib. What the end result would be and why Jame needed to witness it is still a toss up
It was succeeding until Mark came in and told her he’s her husband and gained her trust. Now that innie is compromised cus maybe she instinctively knew to trust Mark for a reason. She ignored instructions and followed him

When there’s just 1 sure. But they actively were testing 25 on Gemma and engaging in scenarios the severed floor has never come close to experiencing before
They may be looking beyond just having an employee. The average innie wasnt encountering any traumas
Beautiful finale! The show itself ain't even in the same room as The Sopranos and Breaking Bad tho!
Wait I feel like the ending scene was a successful Cold Harbor test then. Lumon got their answer
When Gemma crossed the exit that was Mark S’s first time seeing his outies wife (and biggest trauma) and not just Ms Casey. He proceeded to close the door, turn around and run off with a different woman
