A full time marching band on the severed floor?

Helly R said something along the lines of "they are trying to keep us here..." indicating she meant everyone including the marching band

I have no idea what that was. This whole season was a mess. I don't necessarily disagree with the end result, but the way we got there from episode one is kinda baffling. Maybe it's just me, but I have no real interest in what happens next.

Damn I loved this season. But can’t really disagree with ppls qualms.

    Specially Cobels solo ep

Okay, the finale was fine, but I still really have my issues with the szn.

First question: Maybe I missed it, but didn’t this guy go through reintegration and have his chip removed? How is he still able to turn into his innie?

Two: We just finished Season 2, and I still don’t think I have a clear answer on what Cold Harbor even is. Why aren’t innie or outie Mark, or even Devon, asking Cobel what it is exactly? I kept thinking, okay, maybe we’ll get an answer once it’s at 100%, but nope—they just watch her disassemble some furniture.

Three: Not as important, but I feel like some characters really had no purpose. Miss Huang, Devon’s husband (almost forgot about him). Milchick felt like he was building toward an arc, but by the end of the season, it seems like that’s being saved for S3. Irving was crucial for the half and then bye. Christopher walken

This show reminds me a bit of Westworld—great Season 1 and even 2, but their world was so complex that you’d always finish a season with more questions than answers.

this video explains exactly what Cold Habor is and it makes total sense to me

Unfortunately they missed with this finale, and honestly the entire season if im being real.

The writers simply did not spend nearly enough time on Gemma the entire show for that ending to hit. Yes sure it prob sucks seeing Mark choose Helly but we don’t even know Gemma. Like someone else mentioned, it leaves little to care about moving forward.

So you really believe they have a marching band department that do nothing but rehearsed all day every day?

Hope we are now on the Mr Robot trajectory!

A cool first season, a divisive second season, a top 10 OAT third season and a best season of television ever fourth season.

So it’ll end up as one of the greatest shows ever made.

Well I hoped this show would be in the upper echelon amongst Breaking Bad, Sopranos, and The Wire. Not Lost lol. But I'm speaking on Severance having the same flaw that Lost had in it's later seasons, not them being direct comparisons as shows

the f*** you mr milchick scene did not work. i refuse to believe that one lousy speech from Helly R caused the whole marching band to rebel against Lumon

You know what would've saved that? Dylan saying "Fuck you SETH", the same way Irving said Seth

That's one hell of a standard and pressure to put on it lol but based on season 1 I understand

This season was not divisive it’s widely acclaimed lol. It’s just that the few ppl who don’t like it always gotta be louder for some reason

So I binged it and actually thought this season was stronger overall than season 1. I finally caught up last night actually and I enjoyed this finale a lot

    Unity

It's more popular now than it was at any point during or after season 1 by orders of magnitude

That has nothing to do with what I said

Everyone I have talked to about the show agrees the second season was disappointing, boring, average. Loved the first season which is why they finished this season

I don’t think that comparison works with this show honestly. And i think Robot is one of the greatest ever comfortably

Mr Robots audience and awards peaked S1 and dwindled notably as the series went on. S2 was divisive in a way that resulted in permanent drop offs. I enjoyed it and the critical acclaim for the show was great the whole series but this was a damaging type of divisive. The audience that started didn’t finish the show and the ones that stayed truly loved it, but weren’t a massive grouping

Severance gained a large audience due to its S2, solidified itself as a flagship for Apple and now is just getting started with acclaim that will manifest throughout the year in awards and continued binge watching. The critiques vs love is far more balanced and even if you disliked the session I guarantee everyone shows up day 1 of S3. This is more like a “fun” divisive lol
