Why is Helly/Helena's brain switchable remotely but not Irv's? Milchik is forced to call hq to switch Helly on because Irv's taken her hostage, but he couldn't just put the call in to nerf Irv in that moment?

Helly was supposed to be her innie but had a specific block placed on her so she could still be Helena. Removing that block is easier than exposing oIrving unexpectedly to that situation

Lumon has to allow outies some degree of control and they expect to go down an elevator at 9am and come up an elevator at 5pm. Any other contact usually needs consent like oDylan agreeing to OTC with Milchick.

All of the conditions like Glasgow and OTC seem to have specific instructions to set up, but are very easy to undo. For Irv they'd have to waste time following instructions to do anything to him while an Eagan was actively drowning.
