Seems like the majority of people want dumbed down slop that they can have on as background noise while they doomscroll

We need to cherish shows like Succession and Severance while we have them, because they won't be around forever at this rate. I know everyone remembers the article about Netflix wanting to push shows that have the characters actively explaining what they're doing every few minutes so viewers don't actually have to look at the screen
