I like this album although I always felt like I had to force myself to like it over genuinely enjoying it. there are some great songs though for sure

Like I said, I didn’t like it at first. Then I just decided to relisten and that s*** clicked hard. Didn’t feel forced to me, I just fell in love. Maybe it wasn’t your time yet?

I recommend giving their other stuff more of a chance I feel like it grows on me when I listen more. The most recent album with the trap influences I thought was pretty amazing and the second album is great too, it’s really just the double album that’s still a miss for me

Black Up is definitely the best “experimental” hip hop album and Butterfly is underrated as a GOAT

But yea I agree with you for the most part. Lese majesty was cool for what it was, and the new album had some dope tracks on there but that double album was a pack of ass fr outside a couple tracks

I wish they’d release some of their s/t + black up era loosies. Ish got heaters he just keeps to himself or plays at shows exclusively. Some of my favorite tracks by them were live only
