It's all subjective anyway. Summrs cultivated a large following on sc and he did it by releasing a s***load of music. He's so popular that he averages over a million monthly streams on Spotify and most of his music isn't even on Spotify. I think he deserves the title just as much as dudes like uzi who were basically industry plants

i have a song i helped work on that i want to help grow, its doing okay on youtube rn hoping to get the video thats finished on a good youtube platform for growth

I mean theres a few methods to get more plays/attention

burner accounts, make a new soundcloud/youtube account and just play your songs on repeat

paid marketing, find a service that offers plays/reposts/followers etc, its usually very cheap. The bad thing is this is bad for your reputation later on but hey if it works it works. Also u gotta do it right cus u cant just buy 10k plays like u need likes, comments etc so i usually jus pay for reposts

social media, this is not easy but basically just constantly post your progress/work on social media. send ur song out to people. that ground game rly goes a long way when u dont have many fans. create relationships with people

making good music, kinda self explanatory but if ur music is rly good and u do bare minimal marketing/branding youll eventually have people contact you with opportunities

for your song it might be worth while to jus find a youtube channel that posts music, submit it an yea. maybe im saucy huh, foreignsouthamerica, UND3RWORLD MEDIA or wav runner might take submissions. i think bigger platforms like perfect plug or wav guide would be rly hard to get on
