    Hustle. Most of these rappers got signed because they repeatedly attempted to contact famous rappers or ambushed them with demos or started free styling.

    Build up an organic local fan base To prove you can sell and then find a rapper to co-sign you or hear you out and you’ll be accepted into the industry 99% of the time

    Or try your hardest to go viral off a track and you’ll get contacted.

    Only two ways this day and age really

    Is it possible to succeed in the music industry without fraternizing with other rappers? I love music but idgaf about the f***ery or the b****es, just want to make my mark with content.

    This is a minor one but Pac originally called Jay Z out by name in the OG Hit Em Up track but since Pac's loud voice f***ed up the recording, the producers had to scrap that verse in the final version.
