    Use WiFi OP. Smh

imagine using WiFi on a desktop.

  • Feb 3, 2020

It’s them cats living with their parents complaining.. 😂 when you got 20-30 WiFi devices in your house running at the same time. Cameras and all outside running off WiFi. Good speeds and a nice netgear nighthawk will take care of ya. Has nothing to do with girls, these niggas eating cold cheese with bread. Move out cha mamas crib already. You know who u are.

Yall flexing hard. I thought I was doing well with 500 up and down. 5ms ping. And I pay 50 per month for that too smh but at least it includes my ISP's streaming service and some live channels that I can see from any tablet, phone, smart tv or browser.

    5 mbps...

i just stream HD and its fine on my end

niggas paying 100s for internet lol

About $60 a month but we also have a phone package for some reason still.

There are more factors at play than just ISP when ur calculating innanet thruoughput.

you could have fios but sharing a channel with other people which affects speed; you could have a faulty network interface card; thats a factor. Also being wired to a cat 5e or above could make an impact too. You could have a router that dosent support 802.11 ac .. Many factors ... Just like how ram isnt the only factor for a fast processing computrr

Not really.. my entire house is re-wired in cat 6. Ofcourse you’ll see different speeds with wifi deer but being directly connected has little to no interruption. Gamer here so I’m hard wired in every room. Took forever to set up.

Idc about 200 download speeds that’s fine with me.

But the upload is laughable. Same price I could be getting 200/200 with fios and no data cap. Need to leave asap

The ping tho, latency, it’s more than just down/up speed. I never went over 1ping with fios. No latency. 0 packet loss. It’s amazing and for the price, you’ll have 1,000 up and down for likely what ur Paying for now. The reason why I really need it is because I’m a computer engineer and I got like 28 devices connected to my router, nighthawk ran me like 500 bones

    poverty numbers

    I get 500 on servers / wired

    need 10Gbps both ways

  • Oct 16, 2021

75/75, it reaches about 85 both upload and download. I’m gonna upgrade to Fios’s basic 200/200 plan soon, haven’t had much of an issue with 75/75 so it’ll be a perfectly fine upgrade for me

Decent tbh. I got 1000/100 Mbits (Mbps) so far and will upgrade to 1000/500 Mbits (Mbps) in the next 3-6 months hopefully.

That's until it gets better in the place I live which should by then be 2500/2500 Mbits (Mbps)

the upload is painful but yeah download is pretty good

damn nice nice fast speeds some people by me have fiber but I'm still stuck on TV cable

    I see.

Well I am on COAX which is what I guess you'll call TV cable speeds but I can get up to 1000/500 Mbits (Mbps) and somehow maybe 2500/2500 Mbits (Mbps) in like 2022 or 2023 hopefully. And by then dunno if it'll still be via COAX or finally done via a Fiber connection... Anyway it should be good man!

yeah coax or copper cable all the same stuff

it's very limited on bandwidth, years ago coax couldn't even 100 up and down

optimizations over the years has pushed it far, they usually limit upload though to achieve better download speeds

yeah it's pretty solid I don't have many issues

Hmm dunno if they can make it handle more than 1000/500 Mbits (Mbps)... But if Fiber can't be installed every where during 2022 or 2023 so do I hope that they do find a way to make COAX handle higher speeds than what it currently can handle
