It’s nice to see this series get its flowers. This is the real second season of True Detective. It has the atmosphere, horror influence, strong lead performances, and unifying vision.

I’ve seen The Night Of, and Mare of Easttown, Both murder mysteries from HBO that were pretty good. The Outsider is another, but that was an okay watch.
