I’ve said before I didn’t like the first one but this one was entertaining as a comedy. Made me laugh more than I expected

Having watched both this and Ant-Man 3 today I’d say they’re close to equal quality with this one slightly edging it out for being funnier

The worst thing for me about this franchise is that there’s no character that I care for. I kept reading about Zegler being great in this and was excited cause I liked her in West Side Story but she really didn’t get to do s*** here. Won’t blame her but her character was very bland and most of the movie is her just making shocked faces

Watched the first half of this and Zachary Levi is probably the worst part of this movie. He plays Shazam so annoyingly it’s driving me crazy. Everyone else plays their role fine tho, especially Freddy and Meagan Good.

this movie was fine actually, better than black adam, ant man, thor and the first movie maybe but still just fine

i think they went a bit overboard making shazam kinda dumb that he just doesn’t seem like a cool superhero for most of this along with the movie feeling kinda rushed in the pacing

i don’t think it deserved to flop as hard as it did but the promotion didn’t do it a lot of favours

2018 really was a peak year for superhero movies and box office in general

even if it’s not marvel it still benefitted a lot i think from infinity war on top of it being a simple movie and not some convoluted mess, i don’t see the sequel matching that at all though
