wrap up strangers things then throw the kaibosh on the whole thing while the industry shutdown mainly imo. we have the cgi now. break out the animatronics if we have to s*** is not ok at all seems so blatant

But there will always be agents and families that would have no problem pushing their child towards the promise of 'stardom' because of the $ that it brings

The Disney Channel are probably the worst culprits of this- so often the people that were on there as kids grow up and have some sort of problem

I'm just saying let's wait and see. I learned the hard way from the Johnny Depp s***, so until then I'm all the way 'innocent until proven guilty'

He admitted to being abusive yeah, but twigs wasn't the only one that claimed it

Sia claimed he was too but her account was basically just him faking being interested in her to sleep with her (which plenty of others have done)

His original statement could easily have been addressed to her?

How are you going to use an example of Johnny Depp of the importance of "innocent before guilty" when the court judgement on him was that there is enough evidence that it's true to call him an abuser

Any reasonable person would paint him as guilty, he admitted to being abusive after someone made accusations of abuse against him You don't need to address each and every individual allegation for it to be a valid admission you idiot.

If Shia wasn't admitting to the accusations Twigs made against him, then what was he talking about? What reason would he have to come out and randomly admit to hurting people with his actions? And you can't say it was just the Sia s***, no public figure would come out and make a vague statement admitting to just an affair when someone else just made serious accusations of physical abuse against them Plus, I think you're mistaken about the timeline. It was Twigs accusations -> Shia statement -> Sia piled on

My bad it wasn't Sia's one. There was another girl

So it was twigs statement > other girl > Shia statement

His statement read as more like mental/emotional abuse as opposed to physical (which was her account), and while all kinds of abuse are unacceptable- there is a difference.

But we're not getting anywhere. I'm just saying let's wait and see before killing the guy

this is intrinsically built to discredit abuse victims because 1, we all know how hard it is to "prove" that you were abused, especially if it happened a few years prior (basically impossible)

and 2, even if some level of guilt may be found (like a judge siding with Amber), you'll just side with Johnny and call her a liar anyway

Now I'm not saying Amber is right or not, but if youre saying "innocent until proven guilty" no matter what and then immediately citing someone as a liar who was just sided with in the court of law, it just seems like abuse victims are always going to have an insane uphill battle to prove themselves to you

All people accusing others of vile s*** should have an uphill battle

    It’s innocent until proven guilty

Imagine a culture where you could be jailed for something no one had any proof of and it was your job to find proof that you’re innocent just so you can be freed

Well her claims was that he put hands of her for no reason, and that he would beat the s*** out of her and mentally abuse her etc

When the facts came out it turned out she was the one abusing him, s***ting in his bed, chopped his damn finger off etc

He was innocent of what she claimed. He was guilty of other things.
