yea i feel like this something happened in this era
he was on top of his game, only getting better honestly
something threw him off his creative path fr it sucks
maybe it was the debt and having to get to where he is now financially
That brief period of gothic aesthetics / Dürer artwork was so hard. Man I miss 2015 so much
it feels like the truly last great ye era
this record was going to be special man what happened..

hate to be that guy but late stage capitalism really does ruin everything💔

no its completely true
i think u just gave me an idea...
something ive been thinking about for a while
what could have been man….
this would have been a laser-focused donda with virgil, matthew etc still being in the cut and guiding him.

s*** makes no sense, the shift just happened so suddenly
something about the trackless with all the signatures felt like a major shift tbh
it was iconic but then, but when u consider how much has changed...
tell your friends?
Yeah originally a Kanye song, he put out a unfinished version on SoundCloud a few years ago
I remember when they released an apple music commercial and they showed half a second with piss on your grave as a kanye song with the All Day cover
I want to say piss on your grave was a Yeezus cut that Ye was still interested in for his next album but gave it to Travis ? Can’t remember the story on that one.
crazy how memorable this era is despite no album
The years between Yeezus and Life of Pablo were pretty cool
SHMG was a much better direction than Pablo
The most interesting scrapped Ye album to me.

sometimes i miss those days
SHMG getting scrapped into Pablo made me sad at the time, All Day and FourFiveSeconds were 👌👌👌
Ye's creative peak
People who say he peaked with MBDTF in 2010 are crazy to me. The five year stretch of 2011 to 2015 was wild- Watch the Throne, Cruel Summer, Yeezus, the SHMG lead-up. The early yeezy stuff with the 750. Good s***- I might be a lil biased since that was at the age when people are most excited about popular music (teenage years/ late middle school and high school period), but I remember with Pablo and everything after being markedly less excited and I was still a teenager when Pablo dropped.
