I saw an interview from the author of the book “Don't Talk About Politics” and she was talking about the happiness of political people (not sure of the specific studies used), right wingers are generally happier people than left wingers (which makes sense because most left wingers are terribly miserable people), but the happiest people of all are left wingers that are politically active in organising and making positive change in their community, a moment like this is not time to celebrate violence imo, it’s always time for education and liberation
