You are misinterpreting the lyrics. Drake claims he only planted the information about the fake daughter and the items Kendrick had, included the obvious Shortee shirt.

In the lawsuit it's not on Drake to prove he isn't. It's going to be on Kendrick to prove what he is saying is true. Where did he get that information? Why did he say it?

What’s even crazier is that it’s the norm for the genre at the level of money/fame, to the point where guys like Drake and Kanye who weren’t really claiming affiliations early on do so much more directly 20 years deep into their career, when they are already extremely wealthy and famous. Almost like at a certain point in rap you need to or it’s somehow advantageous to get knee deep in the streets even if you weren’t before
