I worked at Toys-R-Us where we had a million carts and I would always get them everyday in the hot ass sun

Don’t work there since it’s gone unfortunately, but I got empathy for people at other places that have to get carts so I ALWAYS put them back in their craddle

In the UK you often have to pop a £1 coin into the slot to unlock the trolley and use it. In order to get the £1 back you have to return it.

So maybe they don’t trust us to do the right thing
