E. Europe looks like s*** because, aside from Belarus which does not look like s*** and hasn't totally abandoned its 20th century history, an entire system and way of life was overthrown by a bunch of soy crackers with inferiority complexes to the west that unleashed some of the worst interethnic, imperialistic, and/or fascistic conflict in the last 30 years, and the devastation from World War II

That it doesn't look more like s*** is a testament to the lingering influence of the Soviet Union civilizing the mongrels that inhabited Estonia and the other s***holes around it who were willing to side with the Nazis because they hated being Eastern Europeans that much lol
