    Ok contrary to popular opinion

I think it would be great if he offered his stems on the site

But. His music should keep releasing on all services. Not just the player

    This applies to all artists

    This sounds more balanced

    Absolutely not

  • Feb 21, 2022

No, it’s ridiculous - at least as an exclusive platform

  • Feb 21, 2022

As long as his music is always immediately accessible on streaming I don’t care what else he does

like someone else said i think it would be cool to have Drake on there and his co-sign would give a lot of credibility to the idea. but the way Ye is planning on making Donda2 an exclusive with the player is a horrible way to release music if there is no other alternative.

    No.

    This only benefits Kanye

What would be the benefit to other artists to release on Kanye and stem player site or device?

Unless they build and make separate devices and a stem player for each artist that’s the only way it would make sense.

Kanye and Kano better be willing to give up 30% of that company for it to make any sense to Drake and his team.

Should streaming platforms pay artists more?

    same answer @op

think @op means Drake selling his own music independent from any label or platform

not copying/following kanye down a lane that kanye owns haha thatd be redundant

Drake is independent and licenses his music to universal

He also owns his masters and gets 30 million plus each album he turns in

Has always Controlled all his own merch and touring

What would be the benefit of Drake limiting his music to a website ?

is he gonna pay himself through web traffic and google ads?

30 million plus seems too low in 2011 wayne signed a 7 album deal each for 35 mill with universal, it is confirmed and even birdman sayed it too so drake was probably getting 20-30 with his second deal with ym 2015-2018 right now its more like 50 per album

As long as it's not exclusive I don't care how many dead platforms he puts his music in

Stem Player is an awesome piece of tech. Makes u a Pocket Dj. Remixing some Drake songs would b pretty fun.
