I have a PS4 and I’ve wanted a Switch all year but they’ve been sold out and marked up in price because of Covid, but now they’re finally back in stock at normal prices. I’ve also already pre ordered a PS5, so I’ll have that in a month when it comes out.

Debating if I should go ahead and buy the Switch now or if I should wait until after the PS5 comes

I feel like if you get both the switch and ps5 you’ll feel overwhelmed with what to play, maybe just stick with the ps5 for now and enjoy the games you’ll get for that and move on to the switch later on

how much time do you spend on gaming? the ps5 launch window is pretty stacked so id imagine you'll be busy with those games for a while

If dont have a computer or phone that can play simple games like stardew valley and other indie s***. U might find some value in a switch.

If u have a long commute, u might find value in it too.

But its kinda hard to recommend. I barely touch mine.

Mario odyssey
Smash bros
Mario kart.

If youre okay with these being the best youll get then youre good.

I only got mines for pokemon.

Disagree, the Switch is best when paired with another console.

if you already got the ps5 wait for the switch pro. might look better on your ps5 setup

If you're talking swsh worst game I've played in f***ing years.

Haven't played pokemon since diamond or soulsilver but man they slaughtered that series

yeah swsh was awful and easy as hell. the best one i last played was alpha sapphire.

tbh im still going to keep buying the games. I've been playing since red came out so imma keep up the tradition

I really wanna play alpha sapphire. Sapphire was my first pokemon and man oh man what a game

its amazing. They did a great job with it.

As some have stated, there have been rumors about an enhanced Switch coming in 2021, so unless you are in a hurry, I’d say hold off for a bit.

Tbh get a Wii U and mod it

I’m enjoying my Wii U more than my Switch

they may be coming out with a new model in Q1 or Q2 2021, but it will likely just play the same games

you could wait for that, or just cop one now, either way you’ll still enjoy it. the library is great

niggas are buggin, i've put like 600 hours into the console in ~2 years. I feel like it's worth it
