I’ve been on paid leave for 3 weeks because of COVID. I go back for the first time today and I have a way better job secured that starts on the 15th.

I would need to put my two weeks in now, my friend and roommate also works for the same company on the same floor, with a different supervisor however.

Today is the last day of the current pay period, if I finish my shift today I get my full check on the 8th. What should I do?
