Never had one in my life and honestly, I don’t really want to, but I feel like not having an Instagram account is hurting my social life, especially keeping up with new people, it seems Instagram is the first thing people ask about. Thoughts?

Yea it’s the #1 app now for staying socially connected. The rest have died out but you kinda need an IG these days if you want to be looped in. I avoided making one for ages but finally gave in in 2021 and it’s made a difference.

Made one late 2020 and I feel like I missed out on it's prime. People don't really make posts anymore, it's just stories. An ad after every post and story. Algorithm is trash, you don't even see new posts from the people you follow. Your explore page will randomly be filled with hoes (maybe this is just me)
