I would also try and visit places to see what you like before trying to move somewhere fr. I fw France far more than Germany. (Berlin is fire tho, but the rent is mad expensive) Anyway, the French culture, language, cities, food, etc. I love it all so much. Yeah you need to learn French to work and live in France but that's actually a huge plus in my opinion. I always wanted to be bilingual so I'm doing an hour or so of French learning everyday. You lowkey seem uneducated or stupid if you don't know two languages living in Europe tbh. Cuz everyone knows at least two.

Yeah i really need to do a world tour first lmaoo. I haven't left North America before

u gotta have EU citizenship or a visa from an employer to move to europe

Depends upon where ya wanna move as well. Ireland/Portugal/Austria are all gonna have super different requirements

I may be able to get EU so there is some hope. Either way I really need to do some vacationing when I can

Start the application now - getting a passport is a long process, it can easily take a year

Barcelona is pretty much like the LA of Europe. Has the beach, mountains, nightlife and great food. Job market in Spain isn’t great though.

the H&M in Barcelona f***ed me up. It’s so pretty. Not used to it being that way. At least not in Berlin

but yeah OP come check out Europe but make sure to check the visa regulations in your desired country

Spain is really nice only been in Barcelona and Lloret before but Barcelona has something about it.

Also check out the south of France like Marseille for example.

City wise Paris, Berlin, Prague, Amsterdam and Madrid are the best for job opportunities and overall quality of life imo

Also if you want to use yr english as u learn whatever second language

Netherlands, denmark, norway, and sweden are yr best bets

Germany and austria are pretty anglo friendly too in big cities atleast

The US ranks worse than almost every first world country in everything that matters. You have states doing so bad they’re comparable to third world countries.

I feel you op. I got a double citizenship and it’s my plan with my girl to move to Europe within 3 years. Once you get into the Schengen area it’s really easy to go to all the countries that everybody is interested in. So you technically could live in France but go to Sweden for 90 days and once those 3 months are up you go back to France for 3 months.

I travelled quite a bit in Europe and unless you actually want to move, it’s kinda like the US. All those countries are small kinda like states and sometimes people go to another country on an hour trip for a restaurant or a beach day and then they’ll go back home without any visa check.

Switzerland was probably my favorite place for how chill and beautiful it is. They have 4 official languages and English is kind of an unofficial 5th. It’s separated into 4 districts linguistically so you can just move to whichever place you’re most comfortable with. Denmark is pretty cool too, it’s a very advanced but also cozy country. France is cool but overrated imo. Norway, Sweden and Netherlands are also top destinations.

L.A was trash and my least favourite part of the US

    Spain was dope tho

Also someone else in this thread mentioned The Netherlands. I've only been to Amsterdam but it was my favourite part of Europe and I didn't even go to the coffee shops or whatever
