I'm kind of at a crossroads right here. There's this guy at my work who I've witnessed boosting hardware and equipment from the job site (I'm in HVAC) and likely pawning it off for d**** or d*** money. He's a nice guy but it's getting to the point where s*** is actually going missing that I NEED to do work with. In total this guy has probably stolen like $10k worth of equipment now and I know for a fact it is him. At the same time our company is rich and it's not like it's hurting them financially. But as an example I know it's likely this guy I work with is that I put a box of wheels we had on the ground.
3 hours later it was missing and there were only 5 other people who were even at the same area of the job site I was at.
Should I report this guy or not?
just tell him you know what he’s doing and that as long as it doesn’t effect you you don’t care
If you want this to end for good OP you are going to have to catch him in the act so you have proof. Next time I would suggest positioning yourself above the box of wheels with a either a cage or a large object to incapacitate the thief
Like so

depends on whether you want to add good or bad morale to your stats
bad morale: report your coworker
good morale: tell him to lay low unless he wants to risk it
mistery outcomes:
Steal his s*** so that whenever he gains, he loses in the process
1 step forward, 1 step back
Only if it affects you. I got cut from a job because someone else was stealing but since I forgot to do the count the blame was set on me despite them having cameras
Steal his s*** so that whenever he gains, he loses in the process
4d chess move right here
just tell him you know what he’s doing and that as long as it doesn’t effect you you don’t care
yeah telling the guy straight up to just not take s*** op needs should be the first step
No
but this guy from Ktt1 got me a dream job and idk if it was strategic but
1. he did literally 0 work basically using me as the “new guy” while searching Young Thug songs ALL DAY
2. he stole so much s*** I got fired in a month from them thinking it was me
just tell him you know what he’s doing and that as long as it doesn’t effect you you don’t care
So now he's an accomplice
