She was being just as stubborn
i think he was in the wrong if he had facebook but i get it if he didnt bc then its like why would i get something to be your friend online when we’re already together all the time irl
the non-native english kinda makes it hard to tell but im guessing he did have one
I always see this in the context of like Facebook being a new thing at the time of the story he’s telling, cus he says ‘Facebook arrived’, so I felt like the lean was supposed to be he didn’t understand why it mattered cus Facebook is just this new virtual site he doesn’t see it that way. Not that he didn’t want to show her his Facebook or something, more like he didn’t really use Facebook or see it the way she did. It’s different to have that convo in like 2008 when Facebook was really getting big compared to now with social media
She was being just as stubborn
She made a perfectly reasonable request , he was being stubborn for no reason
It’s like a fever dream.
Its about the song Facebook Story from Blonde by frank ocean
Why did Frank think that interlude was worthy of the narrative he presented
something about how the internet has had an effect contemporary relationships & how people would relate to that in the midst of a lot of looking back at old frank relationships (post coming out, also with chicks, being the third wheel) & how they've made him into the person he is now

He was the girl

Dont know how people miss this years later tbh
that’s like the whole point of the story is how technology and social media distorted the old ways of perceiving interaction and the very nature of social relationships
He saw her everyday he was in her house

My favorite part on blonde no lie

I didn’t know that the recording is from 2008
Makes a lot of sense in context
