I know it didn't officially release but there's pretty much a compilation of tracks out there that was meant to be Yandhi, regardless if they are seemingly incomplete
Obviously, it is not an official release nor intended. When I mean that it should be canonized I wonder if we, the fans, consider it to be an album
Yandhi should be canonized similar to the way that Brian Wilson’s Smile is canonized in The Beach Boys catalogue
yandhi would’ve at least been TLOP tier, such a shame kanye changed his mind on its direction.
It definitely was its own era with its own direction and version of Kanye. It probably deserves to more so than So Help Me God, which would be the next scrapped Kanye project era that would be canon

Honestly? Strong comparison here. Smiley Smile had remnants of Smile Sessions, kinda like JIK had remnants of Yandhi. I also feel the original vision was altered due to health problems much like JIK
YANDHI
01. The Storm
02. SHOOT UP
03. Bye Bye Baby
04. City In The Sky
05. Hurricane
06. The Law of Attraction
07. Brothers

this is just a personal album i made for myself of songs that are the most for YANDHI, or most YANDHI appealing you can say

I agree with you despite liking JIK. I'm glad Everything We Need/The Storm found an official release

Maybe Yandhi is to JIK as Smiley Smile is to Smile. I have Smile, and while it’s the closest we’ll get to Smiley Smile, it’s still not the same record. So I guess what I meant is Yandhi is Smiley Smile and JIK is Smile.
Also got All Things Must Pass vibes from JIK, in the sense that both Ye and George were searching for religion, as well as the fact that Kanye is trying to differentiate himself from his past catalogue like George was trying to do with the Beatles
Frustrating because it was sounding like Yandhi was a hybrid of 808’s and Yeezus. Those two albums rank amongst his best material. It sucks being a Kanye fan these days because he changes s*** at the very last minute to something that’s just not as good. Maybe someday he will pull a Drake and release a compilation album with just unreleased songs.

At least JIK has some of those Grad/808s/Yeezus vibes
Yes. I'd put money on eventually getting a release of yandhi, considering it was basically a completed album.
