Legitimately risking their lives at work, especially older employees. Y'all are the foundation to this economy and society, as this pandemic has shown us. No exaggeration, if grocery stores were shut down, this would go from a somewhat controlled catastrophe to an apocalyptic event. The reason we haven't completely bottomed out is due to retail associates, medical professionals, and first responders. The latter two get a lot of props, but the first group, as someone who worked nearly a decade in retail growing up, and, if I don't get hired from this temp-to-hire gig, (but I'm in the medical field and where I work isn't getting hit at all economically so I might have a chance) may very well be at again in a couple months, I know get little to no respect. Y'all are legit the glue holding this s***show together right now.
