Plus few days ago Cardi B said "This is pop girl s*** but I’m not pop"
You don't have to be fan of these two to appreciate how they are sticking to their roots and not alienating from it like some male rappers after getting few hits under their belt.
It is 100% pop
I like it was pop, WAP, Press, Bartier Cardi, up, money and bodak yellow are all rap hits
OP a lame for this post but you can do pop songs and still be a rapper at the end of the day
We praising rappers for being rappers now?
I get what @op saying, some of their male counterparts say s*** like "I'm an artist, not a rapper"
A larger point is rappers have to avoid the terms 'rapper/rap/hip hop' because nonblack people don't respect it as a genre
