Some of its used. The original composer passed away in 2017. Tbh some of the theme and intro was very Miami inspired so it wouldn’t entirely fit in this
I'm specifically talking about this theme which has no Miami vibe at all. they hint at it but never fully use it which sucks.

It’s really picking up, but I’m curious as to why she found Iris and not any of the recent people Kurt got.
The Harrison story is sometimes annoying and kinda cringe, the actor playing him got a punchable face

she was possibly Kurt's first and the others are sort of recreating it or some weird s\*\*\*...however he did freak out after he shot the last girl in the face so there's something about their faces he wants to keep in tact
Harrison been annoying since the OG series so it's really just being consistent but I agree...he's whiny and a lot of his dialogue and character shifts are too predictable
If I was Dexter I'd pack my bags and go to Argentina. F*** Harrison, he is an a****** anyway.
I've not seen the latest episode fully yet. Maybe I change my mind.
I feel like it's a pretty big flaw that the podcaster has studied both the Trinity Killer AND the Bay Harbor Butcher yet never stumbled across a picture of Dexter in her reporting even though Trinity killed Dexter's wife...thought she'd be the one to expose his true identity to his girlfriend but instead we got a (very unlikely and coincidental) cameo from Batista and Harrison spilling the beans while stoned...wouldn't she have also at least floated the idea of investigating the guy who killed Deb (and who Dexter killed in the interrogation room) and noted all the different killers Dexter seems to be associated with in some way?
whats the cheapest way to legally watch this through showtime ? may just make an account for a month
30 day free trial
the Showtime Anytime app is cool...I was already subscribed so just downloaded that for free and you don't have to wait for it to air live (can watch earlier in the day unlike Succession where you can only watch live or after)

Dope episode
I don’t need Jim I need Dexter Morgan!
I hate closed spaces like that so the whole cave scene was f***ing me up

Yea his cop girlfriend was able to google his obituary when she barely had details but the podcaster who was studying 2 cases directly related to him and doesn’t discover him…also the picture she uses for her podcast trinity killer episode is Dexter and Rita’s wedding picture cropped
This is reaching S2 and 4 levels of tension. Hate waiting a week for a new episode, that's a good sign.
Other than some characters and few convenient plot decisions this has been great so far man
Harrison is annoying but that one line 'i feel abandoned, abandoned on this couch' was genius writing. Really felt his pain

Yeah now that you mention it, that's a glaring plothole
I can’t see Dexter ending after this season
Like there’s still so much to continue. And with Harrison….. man
New Blood could go anywhere at this point…
