i'm so happy they delivered but their resume wasnt showing promise

some games did fairly well but this is a classic franchise, i think ppl were understandably worried

also i dont think team silent was even involved into middle of development so thats another factor as to why the big hate

My whole thing was I'm sure the folks in charge of the franchise demanded a very fleshed out prototype/design philosophy for how they would make this game. It obviously passed expectations from the higher ups of Konami otherwise they wouldn't have given them this highly regarded title to remake. I know Konami has been lame and forgotten silent Hill (other big franchises as well) but this is still one of gamings most beloved games I'm sure they took this seriously from the start.

And yeah it's fine that people were cautious, but that doesn't mean the more a****** ones can't own up to what looks like a majority of publications being highly satisfied. That was a joke anyway lol but nothing wrong with admitting you may have been wrong. Everyone will make their own decision though.

It's 4 days before the release though regardless. That there showed faith in the game. And idk where bloober is based it might be in a different time zone where they are.

yeah it was bad but the villain was cool looking and the like actual map was cool too

Pre ordered the deluxe for the 48 hours early access bout to try to beat this b**** before I leave for New York Wednesday morning

Hopefully the floodgates are opened now for some other remakes, like silent Hill 1 and 3. Downpour too. Sucks because you can't play any of these damn games on a PS5. I got that new laptop like a year ago though maybe they are on steam or whatever
