i’m not sure honestly i’d probably choose in store pick up to be safe though

last time i preordered a game from gamestop and went in to get it they never checked me off on picking up my order and refunded it fully

I think it’ll be 86-88, best case scenario it’ll hit 91 if they completely and utterly nailed it.

Definitely getting the sense that this’ll be the best received title since 2.

If this is even on par with silent hill 2 story wise then that will be a staggering accomplishment. If it's better then it will be unbelievable. Game looks amazing regardless though

Only read spoiler snippets here and there but good god the story of this game sounds insane.

And it goes IN, it doesn’t shy away from anything.

Game definitely feels like there’s a strong sense of authorship to it, in that it’s the type of thing where if you’re going in hoping for something that feels akin to the original trilogy (SH 1, 2, 3) you’re liable to be disappointed because it’s very much its own thing, introducing its own concepts and ideas and it doesn’t seem intent on shying away from the potentially absurd (though something that is always lost on so many people time and time and time again when bullet point spoilers are dropped is CONTEXT).

I can see a number of people claiming this is only a Silent Hill title in name alone, even though all the distinct characteristics of the series are right there, because it has something this series has needed for decades now (and likely would’ve had if Silent Hills had released).

They are cooking SOMETHING with this thing. If you were hoping for this game to have some WEIRD, OUT THERE s*** you’ll be happy.

This ain’t your daddy’s Silent Hill, so expectations of this being akin to the OG 3 should be left at the door; this is very much something new with the trappings of the classic games.
